Today the Hertfordshire Group of the Hardy Plant Society celebrated it’s 25th year, with a modest party and some HPS ‘royalty’ in the form of the outgoing national chairman Vivienne McGhee and previous national Groups Coordinator Chris Strachan, (who is also a member of the Herts Group), plus four previous Herts group Chairpeople.
Annie Godfrey provided an amusing talk on the challenges and rewards of being an exhibitor at major garden shows, and how to receive many Silver gilt medals (whilst aiming for Gold). Point your mouse at the photos for captions, or click for full size images.

Hi, Bill, The photos are lovely, and your text. The only things to maybe change are that Chris Strachan also stepped down at lthe recent National AGM (Ruth Plant has now taken over as Group Coordinator)…..and that Vivienne hasn’t escaped as husband John was elected as National Treasurer. Heather
