Many of you have been looking after the Iris ‘Banbury Gem’ as part of the Herts HPS Conservation Scheme. If you look at the HPS website on the Conservation page you will see that it is featuring as Plant of the Month for June. It is a shame that we are not currently active in the conservation scheme as it is a great opportunity to grow beautiful and really rare plants in our gardens for absolutely no charge at all.
Is there no-one out there who is even slightly interested in taking over the co-ordination role for a year or so ? – it only involves one meeting a year and a small amount of admin that is all done on the computer.
