AGM, followed by Member’s Talk: Adrian de Baat – ‘Late Summer Colour’

miscanthus-sinensis-rotsilber (2)Adrian is a long-time member of the Herts Group and has been opening his garden for the NGS for several years now. Many of you will have been impressed by his skill in combining grasses and perennials for a spectacular show of colour late in the season. In this talk he will give us the benefit of his experience and help us all extend the interest in our borders well into autumn.

Anna Pavord talk Saturday 7th October

CaptureWelcome to the Hertfordshire Hardy Plant Society 2017-2018 season of talks. We have both favourite and new speakers lined up for you and a wide variety of subjects.

We begin our year on 7th October by welcoming the renowned writer Anna Pavord who will be speaking on the subject of “Perfect Partners” (of the plant variety of course!).

We will also be welcoming Cathy Rollinson, the National chairman of HPS, to help us celebrate once again the Diamond Jubilee of the Society.

We look forward to seeing you there.

There are still a few spaces for visitors, so if you would like to reserve a ticket for a friend or family member, please email or phone 01727 863451.

Your Autumn 2017 Newsletter will be available for you to collect on the day.
