Long-term HHPS member Barbara Stalbow will be opening her beautiful garden to the group’s members for the second time this year.
This mature garden has opened many times in the past under the NGS, and Barbara has not put away her trowel. Quite the opposite, she has a new vision for a large area that used to be a tennis court! Those of you who attended Barbara’s snowdrop ‘pop-up’ opening earlier this year will have seen the tennis court replaced with a pond, curving paths and soil prepared for planting new trees, shrubs and herbaceous borders.
Come along to see how Barbara’s ambitious plans for this new area in the garden are taking shape and enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake in good company.
