Although it won’t be in the familiar surroundings of the Memorial Hall in Wheathampstead, finally we can get to see each other and enjoy the planned October talk via the wonders of Zoom.
For those of you that do not currently have Zoom, but have a computer, do ask someone to help you download it for you if that seems a challenge because, once you have the Zoom application, all you have to do is click on the link below and you’ll be joining all the familiar HHPS members and will be able to enjoy the talk. Sadly, no ‘virtual’ plants for sale but you can have your own tea and cake at the ready and imagine that you are sharing it with the members.
The virtual meeting will be ‘open’ from 1.30 and we propose to have a bit of a recap re HHPS just before 2.00 and provide an intro to Andrew Ward who will take over to give us his talk called the Late Show – Autumn’s Last Finale.
This is a new meeting approach for HHPS and we hope it is ‘hitch-less’ but bear with us if things don’t go exactly to plan.
Please note that the Zoom link will be emailed later this week, to members only, separately from this message which is posted publicly on our website.
Thank you to the Committee for organising the Andrew Ward online talk on 3rd. Unfortunately we won’t be able to participate on this occasion, but hope it goes well, and look forward to further Zoom talks.
