Issue 48, Article 8: HPS Conservation Scheme

Autumn 2012, Issue 48

The following plants have been removed from the conservation scheme, either because they have become more widely available, or because they have been considered not garden-worthy.  If you are growing any of these plants for Herts HPS, you may now regard the plants as your own and there is no further need to propagate them for the annual exchange:

  • Aster ‘Barr’s Pink’
  • Chrysanthemum ‘Lady in Pink’
  • Chrysanthemum ‘Cottage Apricot’
  • Crocosmia ‘Vic’s Yellow’
  • Erigeron ‘Gaiety’
  • Helianthus ‘Shall We Dance’
  • Hemerocallis ‘Iron Gate Glacier’
  • Primula ‘David Valentine‘
