It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the final talks in this season’s Winter Programme. Your committee wishes you all safe and well and will keep you advised about the status of the Summer events as the Covid-19 situation develops.

Sandy Primrose – Modern Plant Hunters

His stories of modern plant hunters and their breathtaking adventures give an insight into the ever-increasing numbers of new plant introductions. His work also examines the search for medicinal plants and considers such developments as the effect of habitat destruction on plant loss and plant diversity.

Guests (£5 entrance fee) always welcome at our meetings.

Annie from Daisy Roots will be bringing plants for sale, but don’t forget your contribution to the HHPS plant table… and a further reminder that your committee will be really grateful for your help in stacking chairs after tea.
